Dr. Leinen and Dr. Brenes have been taking care of our dogs for many years. We love them and the entire staff. They are professional, knowledgeable and caring. We had a difficult (aggressive) dog a while back and Dr. Leinen made time and a safe space to treat him. He also helped me out when I had an emergency and walked in without an appointment with my sick dog. We wouldn't trust our dogs to anyone else.

I took my cats to Shenandoah Animal Hospital and had a great experience. The staff treated us with so much kindness and patience, and they made my cats feel comfortable the entire visit. The office visit price was very reasonable, especially for the level of care they provided. You can tell they truly care about animals and the families who bring them in. I’m really grateful for how well we were treated and will definitely be returning.

This used to be my go to but they became money hungry. I walked in to ask a simple question on a few occasions and they refused to answer unless I made an appointment. So I went somewhere else and they gladly helped. The new receptionist seemed cold and didn’t even crack a smile. I ran into the Dr in Publix and he didn’t even acknowledge after I been going to him for years, Shame. It seems like they care for money more than your pets. They lost a customer of 5 dogs.

I’ve been bringing my dogs to Shenandoah Animal Hospital for over 20 years, and even though I’ve since moved over an hour away, I still trust no one else but Dr. Leinen with their care. Dr. Leinen is truly one of a kind—his warmth, compassion, and dedication are evident in everything he does. He treats my dogs not just as patients, but as if they were his own, and that kind of genuine care is rare to find. Every visit, he takes the time to listen, explain, and ensure we’re comfortable and confident in the treatment plan. No matter the drive, it’s always worth it for the peace of mind that comes with knowing my pets are in the best hands. I can’t recommend Dr. Leinen and the team at Shenandoah Animal Hospital enough—they are simply the best.
