How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Snug Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We spent some time looking for a good place to leave our puppy for training and boarding and we decided on Snug Pet for a lot of reasons. We loved how easy the communication was and the willingness of the staff to give us accurate information. Mark, our puppy's trainer, was the highlight of it all! he was so caring with our puppy and very professional. He walked us through the process of training and explained everything. During the process he remained in constant communication, sending pictures and giving us updates on her progress. He made sure to follow up with us after our puppy completed the training and was always willing to help. We truly couldn't get a better trainer for our puppy!

Didn’t let me inside, I dislike places that aren’t personal even if they’re worried about COVID still. Make me feel welcome. I went for an expensive check up just to get prescribed food. They wanted to sell me the food they carried so I left with out a prescription and asked me if I wanted to come back for one. Why would I ask twice or come two times when I already came. I didn’t appreciate that.
