Dr. Parnell has taken such excellent care of my dog! His ears, paws, groin and overall skin have improved immensely. He has been able to perform at his Scent Work trials without pain.

Seriously they are fantastic! Our pet Oreo had skin allergies that our ordinary vet could not figure out but Dr Peters has put her skills to work and has helped our little girl feel so much better! Had I known about this place sooner, I might have come here directly! Our little girls fur has come back strong and doesn’t look like she’s going bald anymore!

I’ve been bringing my French Bulldog, Rocky, to the Animal Dermatology Clinic for over three years now, and I can confidently say—they saved his life. Rocky has a severe, anaphylactic-level bee allergy along with complex skin and allergy issues. Before finding this clinic, I was constantly terrified for his health. But from the very first visit, the team here has gone above and beyond with compassion, expertise, and life-saving care. They didn’t just treat symptoms—they created a comprehensive plan tailored to his specific needs. Thanks to their treatment, Rocky has avoided what could have been multiple emergency situations. He’s thriving, and I trust this team with his life (and my peace of mind). If you’re navigating scary or chronic issues with your pet, especially allergies or dermatological conditions—run, don’t walk. These people are brilliant, kind, and truly dedicated to helping animals live their happiest, healthiest lives.

The entire staff at Animal Dermatology Clinic is wonderful, and in particular, Dr. Peters is phenomenal. She treated our cat for an auto-immune disease that caused skin issues, and her knowledge and treatment were outstanding, clearly explaining things in terms we could understand, but the genuine care and concern that she showed to us and our cat went above and beyond. And she would not only email but also call us to check in or help us figure out what to do when she had a flare-up, which we were able to catch early because of the knowledge she shared. We will be forever grateful that our little Bandit received such loving care from Dr. Peters’ and the staff at Animal Dermatology Clinic.

I brought my kitty Piper in today for her long awaited appointment at the dermatology clinic. We were promptly greeted and checked in. The waiting room was very calm and we were the only ones waiting at the time which Piper enjoyed. We were promptly taken back to an exam room at our scheduled appointment time. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. The exam room was clean and specifically designed for cats which I loved as so many vets fail to consider cats special needs. (For example there was a little cat hammock on the wall which I thought was so cute). Dr. Parnell-Turner came into the room shortly after we got settled. I really appreciated that she took a look at all the records and paperwork I submitted prior to the appointment. I felt that that really allowed us to utilize our time efficiently. Sometimes I feel you do all this paperwork before an appointment just to have to verbally say all the same things over again, in this exam I didn’t feel this way and felt the doctor really took the time to care about my cat’s specific history to make an informed decision of next steps. Dr. Parnell-Turner was extremely kind and knowledgeable. Both Piper and I felt at ease. The technologist that worked with us was also an absolute gem (I’m sorry I don’t remember your name!). Piper got blood work and we got the results all at the same appointment which I also thought was incredible. Pricing and options of medications were all explained well and I felt at the end of the appointment we had a very good plan that was individualized to my cat’s specific needs. I felt the exam was well worth the price and the wait. This isn’t just a 15 minute exam like at a regular vet. We were there for over an hour and most of that time was spent face to face with the doctor. And I think that’s necessary for this kind of speciality as it’s so complicated and there are so many factors to consider. I also felt like the price I was quoted for allergy testing and allergy shots was a way more reasonable price than I was expecting (around $1500). All in all—yes you will have to wait a couple months to get in for a consult; yes it will be expensive; but also YES you will get really awesome care for your pet. I highly recommend this clinic.
