How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Colony Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I love this place. I am so glad I found it a few years ago. It's run by women who are caring and smart. So far they've been able to see my dog within 24 hours and usually the same day if needed. They get the job done and don't over prescribe or order an abundance of unnecessary tests. I love Dr Moore!!

We love Colony Vet! Dr. Consales is kind, knowledgeable, and thorough - we wouldn’t go anywhere else! All the vet techs that we’ve worked with here have been amazing. Easy to get an appointment and this clinic truly cares.

Been a while since I've had a vet I trust as much as Dr. Moore. Recently went through a long journey dealing with a very strange condition for my poor cat, Colony Vet and Dr. Moore have been amazing in helping navigate everything. Very caring team, everyone felt very emotional and professional invested in the well-being of my cat. Appointments are almost always on time, very little waiting at any stage of the process. Even my anxious wreck of a cat seems to feel comfortable here. Would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Consales and the rest of the team at Colony Veterinary are awesome! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. I felt like they really cared about my dog and were always able to squeeze him in when he needed something. They are also transparent in treatment plans and costs. I’m sure there are cheaper vets out there, but here you are getting a fantastic deal for the quality of service. Sir Reginald and I are truly grateful for the care they provide(d). A million thanks!

I took my Cat there for a tooth removal and they were all so nice and caring. I felt very comfortable leaving my cat there even for the whole day. She's much better now and I couldn't be more thankful.
