How to Save on Veterinary Costs at College Village Animal Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

As new "patients" to College Village Animal Clinic, we were most favorably impressed with the friendliness of everyone from appointment making to check-in, to the veterinarian's interaction with our pet. The entire experience was both efficient and unrushed with the vet taking time to go over everything and take our questions afterward. Very happy with our overall experience at this pet clinic.

They take care of my dog very well. The vet is strait forward and gives very solid advice. They know my small dog will dive off anything taller than himself. They take car to secure him or treat him in the ground. Thanks all!

We appreciated Dr. Capitan's patience and kindness when we recently had our hamster euthanized. She was reassuring to my daughter and to me, and we are grateful.

I've been with College Village for years, and I am always impressed by the sincere kindness and professional competence of all of the employees. I could not be more delighted to go to College Village, and I comfortably trust them with two much loved furbabies.

Best vet I’ve ever been to. My cat has had chronic health problems for 3 years, and no vet seemed to care until we went to College Village. Dr. Nicholson is fantastic and extremely helpful. He explains everything in detail and truly wants to help your pets feel better. Prices are also extremely fair, especially for the Anchorage area. Front desk staff is super friendly and quick to get back to you. If you love your pets like children, take them here!
