How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Walker Lake Veterinary Centre
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. David Oladipo is an amazing fur doctor and empathetic human being. He has an exceptional ability to calm even the grumpiest of kitties (mine included). My cat absolutely hates vets, but she took to Dr David. He helped us with a health concern and now we are at ease with a plan to get her healthy again. We are grateful for his expertise and we will not be going anywhere else for our kitties care! I could not recommend him or the clinic more. Your fur family member will be WELL taken care of. Thank you Dr David.

Very nervous staff around my pittie-mix. The vet tech seemed annoyed by my nervous boy (all he needs is a little attention and some treats and he calms right down, but she seemed completely uninterested). The worst part though, was that the actual VETERINARIAN walked in and asked “is it safe to enter?” When he saw me standing there with my dog…my sweet boy needs a doctor that isn’t going to judge him based on what he looks like in the first 30 seconds of seeing him…super unprofessional.

I highly recommend this clinic; excellent care at very reasonable cost. Veterinarian and Office staff all very good and caring. I just moved here from BC and my little Yorkie suddenly got very sick with vomiting and diarrhea. I tried to get him help at a number of vet clinics but it was dr Oladipo who saw him right away, diagnosed him, gave him antibiotics and meds and sent us on our way. That was yesterday. I am thankful that this morning my little dog is back to his usual loveable self. Thank you dr Oladipo and Staff!

My mother brought her cat here for the first time today and had a great experience! They were able to get her in on short notice and Dr. David Oladipo was very kind and attentive. He handled her cat Sophie very patiently and gently, and explained exactly what was going on with her and what we needed to do. We will definitely be going back and will recommend this clinic to others!

This review is way past overdue. We've taken our two cats and one dog there for the past year and Dr David and Nicole have been great to work with. We've been through 1 neuter, 2 spays, and 1 dewclaw removal. All went splendidly.
