Assure Vet Animal Hospital

We’ve been going to Assure Vet since 2001, and they have consistently provided exceptional care for our family pets. Leesa Maldonado has always been incredibly compassionate, patient, and extremely thorough at every visit. She truly takes the time to listen, explain, and make sure both pets and owners feel comfortable and cared for. After more than two decades of trusting Assure Vet with our animals, we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Highly recommend.

My chihuahua got attacked a couple of months ago. We took him to Assure Vet since it was closest to the house. The vet agreed to see him even though they were literally about to close. She was really compassionate. We are now moving all of our dogs to this clinic. Thank you so much for taking care of my pup!

I have NEVER been here, this is purely based on the receptionist answering the phone. Very rude, kept cutting me off and was literally eating while I was speaking with her. Mind you, my dog has cancer and I’m trying to end his suffering. I was told I need to pay their exam fee JUST to see what the vet recommends even though I can provide paperwork for his diagnosis. I was insistent on euthanasia as my boys health has declined drastically and I know he’s in pain just to be told that the vet also has to agree with euthanasia which sounds like if she says no, I can’t euthanize him. They don’t deal with aggressive dogs so it’s not for us, but gross behavior for a receptionist considering my heart is already hurting. Fire her and DO BETTER.

I adopted Abby from a gentleman walking around trying to give away a 6 week old puppy. I snatched her up. I googled vets in my area and Assure was the closest. I made an appointment that Monday and got to meet Dr. Maldonado and crew; I was impressed. Abby had a few issues, but she became healthy girl quickly. Fast-forward about a year later, I sought a companion for my lonely girl while I was at work; enter Maddy whom I adopted from Converse Animal Shelter. I called Assure and expressed the need to have her seen, and with no hesitation took her to see Dr. Maldonado early that week and she was good to go with zero issues. It took a while to house-train 1 year old Maddy, but she is trained. Fast-forward about 9 months when I saw a sweetheart lost girl on the Nextdoor app. The couple who were caring for Quan(topolis) brought her to my home to see if she'd fit in and she did. I called Assure just before closing time and was given an early spot Monday or Tuesday. Now, not saying Dr. Maldonado is judgemental, but when she walked in the room to me with yet another, I sensed a little "really? Another one?" Lol. She checked her out with 0 issues and I left. My experience with this practice has been five stars throughout. I am 100% positive that my girls need a lifelong doctor and that's what they have in Dr. Maldonado. She is knowledgeable, caring and seems to be pa-retty darn good with my girls. Her staff are also knowledgeable, considerate and listen intently to what I have to say. To end, this is where you should have your pets checked, because they are a quality practice which imposes exceptional value. I was lucky to have chosen them because who knows what else is out there, and I've heard stories.

I’ve honestly had such a great experience with them. I wanna start off by saying Donna is such a joy to speak with. Her customer service skills are impeccable and her empathy with pet owners is unmatched no first time taking my dogs. There was a different lady at the reception desk and unfortunately, I forget her name, but she was very kind and expressed worry about my baby. The vet was in very fast. They were so understanding they were quick, gentle and kind. It did not seem like money hungry like some other places we’ve been they do not try to nickel and dime. They work with your budget and are understanding . Thank you so much for loving my babies and making us feel so comfortable beautiful clean facilities.
