Pet Emergency Center

We can't say enough good things about Pet Emergency Center. The veterinarians are incredibly knowledgeable, and the staff is genuinely compassionate. They’ve saved the lives of so many of our cats, dogs, and even bunnies who were on the brink of death. They do absolutely everything they can to help your pets. On top of their excellent care, they are also the best priced emergency vet in Florida. It’s rare to find such high-quality, dedicated service at such fair and reasonable rates. We are endlessly grateful for the life-saving work they do and wouldn’t trust anyone else in an emergency.

My rabbit choked on hay at home, then became very congested in his nasal passages over the weekend. I didn't want him to wait until Monday for his regular vet, so I brought him to Pet Emergency Center on E. Cypress Creek Road to be checked on a Sunday. We waited a very reasonable time to be seen by Dr. Schneider, who was excellent. She flushed my rabbit's nasal passages to remove any hay that might have been stuck, then prescribed meds. The tech and front desk were equally as pleasant and thorough. My rabbit is fine today and I wouldn't hesitate to take either of my bunnies for care during off-hours when my regular exotic vet isn't available. The facility was very clean and conveniently located. There's ample free parking in the lot near the facility too.

I'm so grateful for the vets at Pet Emergency Center. Everyone was so kind and patient. I could tell that they genuinely love animals and their vocation. I brought in a stray cat with an infected bite wound. She was almost as good as new by time I picked her back up! Also very happy that they offer payment plans through Cherry. Thank you so much!

I truly cannot put into words how grateful I am for this ER and their entire team. They saved my baby’s life. When I brought Toby in, he was going into liver failure and was dying. He had all the odds against him, and I was absolutely terrified of losing him. From the moment we walked in, the doctor and technician treated us with so much kindness, compassion, and urgency. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals and the families walking through their doors. Unfortunately, keeping Toby hospitalized in the ER was more than I could afford, but instead of turning me away or making me feel hopeless, they worked with me. They helped come up with a plan for outpatient care that I could afford, and guided me every step of the way. Because of them, within a week Toby was back to himself. And now, over two weeks later, he is thriving. He’s eating again, gaining weight, and acting like his happy, loving self. Just weeks ago he was all bones, and now he’s truly come back to life. I will forever be grateful to this place, the staff, and the doctor who cared for him. Without them, I would be devastated right now. They didn’t just treat my cat they gave him a second chance at life, and I will never forget that. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My monk parakeet came in with a broken leg but at this clinic they were able to see her before they closed for the day. They also did a fantastic job putting the cast on. With regular checkups until Oct 28th 2025, she made a full recovery and is able to climb everything, her leg properly aligned thanks to early intervention and great care! This is a late review but I’m just grateful I found them.
