We just received our signed card and memorabilia for our special cat , Bentley. I don’t normally leave comments,,but Dr. cloud and the staff on duty that day were absolutely amazing - on a very sad day for our family. It’s hard to put into words when you lose someone that has made such an impact in our life and the struggle to let go when it’s time. We will never forget Bentley … or the people that made his last moments with us as comfortable as possible. Thank you all. God bless. 🙏🏻😢

My 3-year-old Bengal was on the verge of dying after being poisoned. I first took him to Bradenton Veterinary Hospital, where I was charged over $1,000, only to leave with no more answers than I had before arriving. To make matters worse, my cat's condition had actually deteriorated. Realizing he needed immediate emergency care, I rushed him to Desoto Animal Clinic. Within the first 15 minutes, the veterinarian made me feel at ease by giving me hope and showing genuine compassion and concern for my cat—something I unfortunately did not experience at Bradenton Veterinary Hospital. She immediately took the steps that Bradenton veterinarian hospital failed to take from the very beginning. Although the treatment was expensive due to the extensive care my cat required, including an overnight stay, I knew it was worth every penny. Today, my cat is back home and acting like his normal, happy self again. I am incredibly grateful to everyone at Desoto Animal Clinic. Every member of the staff showed compassion, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to giving my cat the best possible outcome. I will absolutely be making Desoto Animal Clinic my primary veterinary provider moving forward.

Absolutely love this clinic. First time Pt yesterday, very pleasant experience from the initial call to book the appt to scheduling a FU appt for my dog Cooper. The staff doted on him, he loved it and it put me at ease. Don’t think I would find a place or a Veterinarian that I liked after Dr Fleck passed. I’m pleasantly surprised Thank you Desoto Animal Clinic and staff.

The entire staff I saw my cat with were so compassionate, caring, and kind. First occasion when my boy was ill last year , all the options were explained thoroughly. This year he got cancer in his mouth and the gentle manner of the veterinarian, Dr.Harper ,was so wonderful. He treated my cranky boy that we loved so much with total kindness. You can tell everyone cares there! We can’t thank you all enough. We were with Zeke until our final goodbye. If I get another pet, there is no where else I would bring them.

we started bringing our pets here in 2023. everyone that i’ve interacted with has been very nice, helpful, and they’ve been great with my (only at the vet) nervous dog and cranky cat! most of our visits have been with dr harper - i like him a lot. we’ve also seen dr kanzler, who i really like as well. tho i hope we never need to use it, i like that they have an ER in case something happens outside of normal business hours 👍
