How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Animal Dermatology Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

My cat’s skin has improved dramatically under the care of Dr. Scott and his team. I appreciate their care and compassion for my baby.

My cat's condition is being carefully controlled. Amanda and Kim at the front desk are very welcoming. I don't feel like we are just a number. What I appreciated most is love and concern shown to my pet and expert watchfulness of his condition.

From beginning to end of visit, staff, Dr Scott and tech (Jen) were warm and inviting. My 13-year-old cat Callie has been scratching and chewing at herself for over 6 months and my vet was out of options so referred me to Dr Scott. We tried special diets set free litters and detergents etc. nothing has worked. Unbelievable explanation from Dr Scott on course of action. He took many skin and hair samples to be analyzed by the microbiologist and we will await test results from 4 to 10 weeks. The visit and testing was very expensive however we have to find the reason why the kitty is itching and I believe Dr Scott will be the one that helps us. This man is a walking dictionary. I was only there yesterday so cannot comment to the follow-up but I would highly recommend Dr Scott and animal dermatology clinic.

Dr. Scott is such a friendly and knowledgeable veterinary dermatologist. And my puppers is a little lemon. She’s got allergies that are challenging to manage but he doesn’t give up. I truly appreciate the dedication he has to client education and my pet’s quality of life. This review wouldn’t complete without shouting out to Jennifer! The greatest dermatology technician I’ve known! They both go out of their way to provide positive reinforcement during the visit. They talk to Belle, give her allergy-friendly treats, and lots and lots of pets. Belle is a nervous girl but she gets excited about her dermatology visits.
