I have a little Frenchy named Chole and she loves Spot pet insurance. She knows they will be there when she needs to go to her favorite Vet. I've had Spot for 2 years and they are a solid and extremely easy to work with. There website is easy to navigate. Spot Pet Insurance is the only pet insurance we’ve only had for our dog and it’s very easy to use and clear with their pricing and policies. We didn’t get insurance until he was as an adult but we are so happy we did when we did as a precaution as he got older and not out of necessity in an emergency.

It took weeks for my claim to be processed, and then a majority of the claim wasn’t even covered bc it was considered “illness”. My dog had her regular checkup and needed her ears cleaned, nails clipped, etc.

Embrace Pet Insurance and Wellness Plan…
Embrace Pet Insurance and Wellness Plan keeps all the paperwork until after I agree to possibly staying with Embrace and then I still don't have all the paperwork but Embrace may keep it for themselves and Animal Clinic Spokane is difficult to do business with because they don't do all the billing and provide details to me of the exam and only tell me verbally and not in writing so this is antagonizing and I believe both sides only want my money and focus on scary me with estimate pricing etc. I liked how Banfield Pet Hospital did business for the most part because they have their own wellness plan under a particular name of their wellness plan and they do the billing but they are with the LGBTQ plus etc community and hated me and my cat so I left Banfield Pet Hospital hoping to find similar but straight and professional veterinarian office employees but I haven't been able to find a veterinarian office employees etc that provide and own a pet insurance company and wellness plan company and charge an affordable non antagonizing cat insurance and wellness plan for my cat and they on both sides demand I just follow along and they both Embrace and Animal Clinic Spokane are not what I expected and there does not seem to be any good cat insurance companies or veterinarian offices so I feel uncomfortable and stuck hoping to find a non antagonizing cat insurance company and wellness plan and veterinarian office doctors etc that don't want to terrorize me and charge high prices and be dishonest and corrupt. I feel sad and taken advantage of.

When I called, the person I spoke to was very patient and helped me understand how to navigate my online process. Which turned out to be extremely easy. And I am not very computer savvy. My claim was processed and paid in a timely manner with absolutely NO problems. Extremely happy with my choice.

Website has been inaccessible for months
Insurance is great as far as covering claims, but gets very expensive for old purebred dogs. Their website is now useless. I've been kicked out of it for two months because of some widespread problem they apparently had, and now nobody can fix the issue and get me access. I've called six times - always told it will be fix but it never is. They do give you a way to submit a claim without the site, but I can't see status of past claims and when I call about an unpaid claim, sometimes they say there's no record of the claim. They also told me they would send me a list of claims with status, but never did. I would have kept that information separately on my own, but I've always relied on their site to look things up. Now you can't do that. For a company the size of Nationwide, you'd think they could fix a data issues with their site, but they can't. Be cautious - maybe look for better options.

Easy online service
I am very pleased with spot pet insurance. Having a large breed puppy there are many unforeseen health issues that could happen, and all of them could potentially be very expensive. So far in a little over a year we've had a couple of vet visits that were outside of a regular well check up. With our 500.00 deductible Spot insurance reimbursed us 80% back. It was very easy to file a claim online the check came a couple weeks after the claim was filed. Excellent customer service.
