Great insurance for your family pets

Pets Best is truly the best
Six months ago my dog became suddenly very ill. The initial diagnosis was that it was likely terminal cancer, but no cancer was found on any biopsy. After several tests, scans, consults, etc., it seems she has an autoimmune condition and is responding so well to her current treatment. She's almost 100% back to her old self. Her treatment plan is to slowly reduce her meds to see if she how she responds and if her immune response has calmed down. We went from consulting a hospice vet and buying books to explain the death of a pet to our 4 year old son, to her back to chasing squirrels and playing like her old silly self. If she wasn't insured, we wouldn't have been able to afford this process - we were very close to having her put down when the initial cancer diagnosis was made. I called Pets Best for help with my first claim and started crying about her condition, and the woman I spoke to was the kindest, most comforting representative of any company I think I've ever encountered. The claims processes have always been clear, quick, and, straightforward, and Pets Best has approved every reimbursement except for things that are clearly not covered in her policy (overnight postage for labs, and OTC diarrhea medicine). I am so thankful every day that we chose Pets Best to insure our dogs, and I am eternally grateful for how its helped make keeping our dog alive affordable and less stressful.

Metlife is a LIFESAVER
Metlife has made our lives so much easier! When we adopted our kittens, we had no idea that one of them would develop asthma, meaning we'd have to cover expensive medication and x rays to help her get back to herself. Metlife allowed us to do everything we could for her, and has been a life saver when it comes to paying for her monthly asthma medication. It is so wonderful to know that if anything ever goes wrong, we can tell the vet to do absolutely anything to help our sweet pets. Their representatives are always so sweet and helpful, and the claims process is super easy to fill out. I would recommend them 1000% to anyone planning on owning a pet, it's been a lifesaver for us!

Very quick decision and payment
Very quick decision and payment. We've had Trupanion for our Alaskan Malamute since she was a puppy and she is now 10 years old. She has been healthy for the most part but did experience canine respiratory syncytial virus RSV which was very serious and scary. Veterinary care was intensive and cost was extensive and without Trupanion it would have been a struggle to pay but we still would have done it. Trupanion was both caring and responsive to our needs and while premiums have gone up as she ages, the knowledge we have insurance with Trupanion is assuring.
