We have a 2 year old lab ( big baby)who experienced lameness in both hind legs but the right was worse than the left. He recieved treatment for this for approximately Jan to May. He had to wear two stfle braces on his hind legs which were covered by trupanion to our amazement and they paid directly. These were approximately $2000. We paid our deductible and they paid 90% prior tax. He had these on until May when it was determined he would need to have a TPLO. We have had prior insurance with another pet and we were quite concerned that we would have a huge run around and then not have the payout. Again to our amazement and this was not the case. Trupanion paid the vet directly 90% and we paid 10% as we had already reached our deductable. Toby is now approx. 14 weeks post surgery and doing very well on his leg. Truapnion has been a blessing for us to be able to have our guy have the treatment he neeeded without worrying about if we could get this done now. The cost of the surgery was $4200.00. Our guy is home and happy and so are we knowing that Trupainon was there for us when we needed it. Thanks again guys for the job well done. Embrace's claim explanations are timely, you keep the customer posted on the status and coverage is straightforward. I took out the insurance policy for my pets so that I would never hesitate to take them to the vet or authorize treatment. Embrace has lived up to its word and I tell all my friends about this company.

Our Lab was experiencing lameness in his front leg. The Vet took some time to send verification to Embrace, but we still received notification of the refund in three weeks. We are quite pleased with the folks at Embrace.

The turnaround time on reimbursements is incredibly fast(a day or two)! If there is a problem or you have a question about your policy, they call you back on the phone and talk it through. All staff who I have talked to have been really nice and helpful.

Augie, our yellow lab who just turned 3 years old, had eaten something and spent the day at the vet's office. Spent the next five days at home on a bread and water diet. The claim was submitted the next day (7/23/12) and we received payment directly into our account on 8/16/12. As I've mentioned in other reviews, we own a dog grooming shop and hand out pamphlets to our customers for Embrace insurance. We refer people at our dog park and at the dog beach. our lab had a trifecta of unrelated health issues in one week, GI issues, allergic reaction to an insect bite, and an eye infection. Claim was paid but wish I had coverage of prescription diets!

Bear came into contact with something unknown an had a severe allergic reaction. Rushed him to hospital an treatment required a 2 day stay. Need less to say I wasnt worried about a bill with Embrace. Vet filled out paper work. I simply faxed it in. With in 24 hrs there was a response that my claim was being taken care of.

We just received our first reimbursement from Embrace. Our deductible is on the high side, so we don't generally meet it, but this year was an accident prone one for our little Sheltie puppy, Rocco. Nothing too serious, but little things that added up. We also have another Sheltie, Dante, with a pre-existing condition. For both of our dogs, we submit paperwork simply for record-keeping. Each time we contact Embrace, we are met with kindness, professionalism, and respect. And, the best part is that they are great communicators! I love that I get emails just to tell me that they are working on our file and that we can expect an update soon. I always know where things stand with Embrace, and I highly recommend them.

Claim for removal of an embedded foreign eye object was promptly processed and nearly the entire amount was applied to my deductible.

My older buddy, Barry developed a nasty ear infection that would not go away. It then lead to secondary issues in which he began to develop nerve paralysis on his left side (same side as his ear infection). He could no longer blink or close his left eye and it was affecting the use of his left hind leg as well where he could not support himself using that leg, nor walk properly or do the normal activities cats do. It came to be that for a good 2-3 months I was paying a visit to the vet every week. At every point Healthy Paws was quick to process the claims. I have been more than satisfied with the customer service from Healthy Paws! My experience has been thus far exceptional because they go above and beyond processing claims. Sending a note to check in on my furry buddy shows that Healthy Paws truly cares about their clients' pets' well being and affirms my choice to selecting Healthy Paws over other pet insurance. It was a personal note written by someone who have it some thought because they asked that I "give him a great big hug from us tonight!" When I responded I received a quick response back personalized the response I had sent. I tell all my fellow pet parents about how great Healthy Paws is. Keep up the awesome work!
