NEVER AGAIN
We had Trupanion for our Golden Retriever and our first claim we made was denied, 100%. We got nothing!!! Even though we discussed all possibilities with the agent. Everything is great, until you have to make a claim!!!!

The sign up process was easy
The sign up process was easy. The price points are reasonable. The apple store app does appear to be outdated (it will be great if they can provide a newer UI). Updating claims via the app was okay, though I had problems 1x. The claim processing process appears to be slow. That is my only gripe.

Best customer service team and quick claim process
I was skeptical of signing up for pet insurance. I wasn’t sure if they would try to deny my claims based on some small print I may have missed. However our pup has the tendency to eat things he shouldn’t so this became a must. I was very surprised at how quickly my claims were reviewed and completed with healthy paws. Each customer service representative has been so kind and helpful during these stressful times and put my mind at ease that they were there to help.

The young lady I spoke with around April 6-9 was so incredibly helpful and extremely detailed with her responses in regards to all my insurance questions. She definitely went above and beyond by following up later that week. Very impressive. I called back on April 16th and spoke to a gentleman, regarding additional questions I had and he too was also just as helpful. I'm truly amazed at how wonderful, professional, knowledgeable and personable the ASPCA staff is along with the insurance company they work with.

Very Reliable Pet Insurance
Three weeks ago Kermit! who was in one of his best shapes of his life became very lethargic very quick. Within two days he got diagnosed with a ruptured spleen and internal bleeding and consequently got his spleen removed. He was in the ICU for four days. And so far we have been billed over $ 7,000. With Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, we were reimbursed close to 90% of the total expense within ten days. While I sincerely hope that no dog owner goes through what we went through, knowing that there is a reliable pet health insurance company taking care of the expenses definitely helps.
