Ridiculous paperwork glitches and...
Ridiculous paperwork glitches and very poor communications between vet office staff and akc and by the time all necessary paperwork in place you have to worry about the coverage time limits.

I don't understand as to why...
I don't understand as to why there is a 5-day waiting period for a 30 day new insurance that I activated for the dog I adopted from a shelter. This is not very motivating to continue using your company for pet insurance following this trial period.

While I don't mind calling, it would be easier for policyholders to be able to update payment information and billing addresses on the website. If it's available, I sure haven't seen it.

I put a claim in back in November and still have not received the reimbursement check. Even though I have been receiving other correspondences and a check from a claim I put in this month from your company. I guess I don't understand why I have to wait

Efficient
Claims process was very efficient. Terms of coverage are clear. I submitted my claim on a Friday evening and received word on approval the following Tuesday-no questions asked.

Nothing but fabulous experiences with Trupanion!
My dog cooper has had nothing but strange problems since I got him at 8 weeks old. I insured him right away and it has been the best decision I have ever made. Trupanion has made my life so much easier! I have no stress now when my dog gets sick etc., because I can rely on Trupanion. Each time I call their call center to ask about a claim or have questions on my policy, the people are super friendly and go out of their way to make conversation and seem genuinely concerned with my pup and helping us in any way possible! Also the repayment processes for getting a claim payed out is super speedy! Usually takes less than 2 weeks. Finally, uploading a claim can even be done on your mobile phone which sure made my life easier if my vet couldn’t do it for me. I will always insure my pet and definitely recommend Trupanion to anyone!

Claim experience was excellent!
Our experience with Trupanion could not have been easier. The claim form was easy to fill out. After faxing the claim, we were emailed promptly that it had been received and we did not have to do anything else. Within a few days we were notified that our claim was processed and we had the option of direct deposit or check in mail. Trupanion has been a wonderful company to deal with and we will recommend them to everyone. Thank you to everyone at Trupanion!!!
