It's an amazing service, but I was charged the $35 start-up fee, which is fine... but then also charged $40 and then an additional $4 from Veterinari or something like that, right along with the trupanion charges... What's that about? is there going to be a bunch of hidden fees? Why was I charged more money for no reason without being notified?
I have a lot of questions and will be in touch with someone once I have the time. Also, in the email it says every injury or illness, but you make it sound like only if there is surgery or longterm healthcare needed. If my dog gets a splinter removed will I have to pay $300??? If so what's the point of the insurance?
The fact that I have more questions after signing up then I did before signing up, is why I only give a 5. Excellent service.. it sounds like anyways, but I have to get in touch with someone to clear all this up now, which is not what someone with a busy schedule and a new puppy needs.
It was very simple and easy to make a claim, but I donât think it is fair to not pay for valid parts of his medical care related to a covered condition by calling them âexamination feesâ when they are not listed as such.
