You have been great to deal with ever since our girl Storm an American Pitbull Terrier who needed your help when she was only a few months old.

You have been great to deal with ever since our girl Storm, an American Pitbull Terrier who needed your help when she was only a few months old. The day we needed to bring her to the vet was the day our membership kicked in, Storm was diagnosed with environmental or food allergies, and since then she has probably experienced every single kind of non life threatening issue that you could think of. Storm also required a bilateral CCL TPLO surgery in 2019. It was an estimated $12,000, before aftercare. Without Trupanion we would have been in a hard spot, we would have needed to sell everything we could to fix her legs. Since then my girlfriend and I have shared our story and advocated for people to pursue your services. Just this year my mother in law's golden retriever tore her CCL and now requires surgery as well, without having it she would not be able to afford a cast for her leg or to get the surgery. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for saving the quality of life for our girl Storm.

Availability on a Sunday!

I was able to register my two pets on a Sunday. The breeder for my puppy required registration within 24 hours so it was great to be able to talk to someone to register her. The person I spoke to was very efficient & registered my puppy plus my kitten quickly. Great service!

I don’t know what I’d do with out Trupanion.

I don’t know what I’d do with out Trupanion. I had a couple things not covered so far but most importantly when Blue needed surgery they were there to help. Thank you Trupanion

Monthly cost varies due to multiple factors including: species, breed, age at enrollment, gender, and postal code.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
