Excellent, Fast, Caring Service!!

My newly adopted puppy, Cocoa is a Lab/Shepard mix. I had just signed up for Trupanion Pet Insurance Coverage and 4 days later She was diagnosed with Demodex, generalized. My Vet's office helped me submit the invoice for the lab tests, medication, etc., and Trupanion was professional and efficient in processing my claim and covered 90% of the cost!! I am soooooo happy I chose to enroll my Cocoa in Trupanion when the 30 FREE trial was expiring. I highly recommend this company to ALL new pet owners. The FREE 30 trial was an excellent idea on their part. In addition, their continued communication via email regarding my enrollment of Cocoa and the through the processing of the claim was superior customer service.

Awesome Provider

I was hesitate on which insurance to provide to my two rescues after I had lost a pet, but knew I needed some kind of catastrophic coverage. I am in AWE of how quickly, professionally and fully Trupanion covered my intial claim, and then a follow-up claim came along. Again, quickly and professionally covered. I highly recommend everyone who owns a pet, consider this to be the best coverage out there. Abby, Harry and I love Trupanion!

Reliable and easy to work with

I don't know what we would do without Trupanion. When we first signed up, my husband and I weren't sure if pet insurance was worth it. Well, now we know it is. Our dog has ended up with numerous medical bills for various issues over the last three years. Most recently, she's had throat/stomach issues that required expensive tests. Trupanion's claims submission has been so easy to work with and their response has been so fast. We received a reimbursement check yesterday for a claim that was submitted just last week. I highly recommend Trupanion.

Wonderful Service for Dog's Orthopedic Injury

Doc, our 1 year old Lab mix, had an unfortunate play injury...he jumped off the couch and injured his superficial digital flexor tendon. We are so glad we had gotten Trupanion after seeing a flyer at our vet. Doc's injury required orthopedic surgery, which was pretty expensive. We were so thrilled with Trupanion for coming through on their promise and taking care of 90% of the cost of the entire injury from the first appointment to the final check up. The claim was handled in a very timely fashion and the one time I called in the person I spoke with was extremely helpful and kind. Thank you Trupanion. I am recommending you to all of my friends and family!

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
