Great Response

Your company responded quickly to my inquiries in to pre-approval for pending surgery for my female cat. When another problem was detected before her surgery could be scheduled, your coverage took care of most costs. Payment was received from the company once I submitted all invoices in a fairly reasonable time. Would recommend issuing one cheque rather than one for each invoice.

Excellent investment!

Trupanion has allowed me to take the best possible care of my pet without having to worry about the financial burdon. Trupanion has made the claims process easy and efficient. I'm so happy with their service- I recommned them to everyone with a pet and will always have insurance for all of my animals.

fantastic fast service and check issued quickly

No questions asked- claim filed, reviewed and check was in the mail- hope monthly cost does not increase, at this time it is definitely worth the cost. Takes the financial stress off the unknown with only the best for our pooch!

wonderful company

Feline T-cell lymphoma

My 13 year old cat was diagnosed with nasal lymphoma. Trupanion has been stellar. Not only did they give us a pre-approval within two hours, they have paid every claim promptly and correctly and even called me to ask if I would like the payments deposited directly into my account. The payments are deposited with lightening speed. I also appreciate the courteous 24 hour phone customer service and non-existent to short hold times.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
