TPLO Knee Surgery

Trupanion has been great for us. They paid Barkley's cancer and treatment claim two years ago and this year he had TPLO surgery for a blown cruciate. I had an answer on his claim within three days and a check within seven days. They are the best. I have recommended them to many of my yorkie friends and I know several have taken out policies. Thank you.

Customer Support is Compassionate

Customer service was amazing when I called about the process to submit a claim. There was compassion and calm over the phone. Quentin will be seeing the veterinarians during his recovery. First time claim

I submitted claims for the first time to Trupanion and I am very pleased with the process frfom beginning to end. On-line submission was very easy and I received an email the next day with confirmation of my claims received. The next day after confirmation of claims received, I received the breakdown of processed and approved a claims. Very pleased with the over all outcome.

Enamel Hypoplasia and Fractured Canine & Incisor

My dog fractured 2 teeth and was also dealing with enamel loss on must of his teeth. I filed my first claim on a Wednesday and 48 hours later received an email from Trupanion staying they would be covering $1,841, which was 90% after the deductible. The check came one week after the email. I am so thankful for Trupanion!

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
