Very fair, very worthwhile

I am extremely pleased with Trupanion's policies and coverage for our 4 young cats. Although it is a lot each month with 4 cats insured, being able to sleep at night knowing that we have insurance for them to cover what we could never possibly afford on our own is a tremendous comfort and worth the expense monthly for certain. I have had several claims for unexpected medical issues that have come up and all have been covered fairly and promptly.

Thank you for being there

Whiskey is battling cancer. she is doing well and I cannot thank Trupanion enough. She will need this treatment for life and it is a big relief to me. I have been able to make decisions about her health and quality of life without the worry of how much things were going to cost. So thank you again Trupanion and whiskey thanks you too

Best insurace/best people

trupanion constantly keeps you updated right from the beginning of your claim until the very end. So ther is never a time when you are "wondering" what is the status of my claim. that really means a lot

Trupanion has been terrific. Our dog has ibs and has many issues over the years . Trupanion has been very good with our claims and would highly recommend to all owners who LOVES their pet.

Monthly cost varies due to multiple factors including: species, breed, age at enrollment, gender, and postal code.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
