No hassle, quick reimbursement

Never thought I would see a dime of the big bill paid for my Labradoodle puppy's rock eating adventure. Our new puppy ate some rocks and after a night at the hospital hoping things would come out naturally, he underwent surgery to remove the stomach contents spending post-op time in the hospital as well. He is doing great; Trupanion promptly and professionally kept me posted on status of the claim and very quickly. I was surprised how easy the process was and how quickly the check arrived. No hassle!

The best

We've been a customer for four years with three cats. We have a zero deductible, and the coverage is decently priced, but we just had a rate hike. While I wish it was more reasonable, we'll never leave. I've never had a claim denied. They are always there, always willing, always kind, ever -single- time I call for help. It really is that easy folks. Just get the ins. You'll be happy you did. Our cat has on going care and medication issues. All I have to do is submit the receipt when I pick up her monthly medications, they reimburse 90%. Done. What else do you need?

Easy process, super quick payment!

Our dog Iris came down with a severe case of hemorrhagic colitis a few weeks ago. She spent a couple of days and one night at the vet and thankfully recovered fully. The bill at the end was large but we were so thankful that we have Trupanion insurance so that we only had to worry about our dog and not money. We received our reimbursement payment in less than a week which made covering the Visa bill simple. Thank you Trupanion!!

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
