Trupanion - best pet insurance!

I was very pleased with Trupanion pet insurance after submitting a claim for my 7 yo dog. They were very professional, answered all my questions when I called, contacted the veterinarian (s) promptly, emailed me to let me know the staus of the claim, and made a determination as to reimbursement within 2 to 3 weeks.

Pleasant surprise!

This is the first time I have purchased pet insurance so it was new territory for me. My one year old Cane Corso had to have TPLO surgery on her rear leg unfortunately but Trupanion stepped up to the plate and my vet was able to get confirmation of coverage online in about 10 minutes. Operation complete and claim paid directly to the vet. Effortless.

Boston Terrior Eye Surgery

Just a quick note to thank Trupanion for all the support they have given to our family and Duke well we were going thru cataract surgery. Duke had complications and had to have a second surgery,Trupanion have been fantastic and supportive through a very stressful time for us. On a happy note Duke is doing very well a d recovering nicely. We couldnt have done all this for our little boy without the support of Trupanion! Thank you so much

most caring and understanding staff!

Trupanion is awesome! We were not sure what the outcome for our dog would be but knew we had to do everything for her. They were there for us every step of the way. They worked with our Vet with payment as we were heading towards over a $10,000.00 bill and running out of money to pay up front. They arranged direct billing with the vet clinic! Amazing! This is so worth every dime of monthly payments just to give you piece of mind that you can save your pet's life by having insurance for them. Our dog survived her ordeal and is doing great. I cannot not say enough nice things about this company!!!!

This is the pet insurance to have,

I purchased pet insurance for my two Papitese litter box sisters after one of them had the worst case of pancreatitis the vets had ever seen. Her vet bill was $11,000.00. About six months later her sister was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic lymphoma. Trupanion is paying 90% of the cost of her chemotherapy treatments, after I paid my deductible of $400.00 and minus the exam fees. Her treatment will be about $5,500.00. Her cancer is not cureable, but we been blessed with priceless time to be with our little sweetheart. I tell everyone I know about Trupanion. God bless the Truoanion people for making our headache bearable.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries. That means we don’t cover “predictable” care costs that you can plan ahead for, like: Examination fees Wellness and preventive care Elective, or cosmetic procedures Sales tax, where applicable Like all pet insurance providers, Trupanion does not cover pre-existing conditions.
