fantastic service

so pleased with the simplicity of the claims process. My pet has a monthly claim due to a skin disease which will be with him for life and the team at your office has made making that monthly claim simple. In fact, even though I know that I send my claim to the wrong department (as that is where I initially spoke to someone), they cheerfully forward to the right group. every month my claim is processed without question and I receive payment promptly.

Great peace of mind with my pet insurance.

My lab, Scout, was diagnosed with liver disease over a year ago and has had many costly exams and tests. He also has to take daily medicine which costs over $100 a month, fortunately, my pet insurance covers 90% of this cost. I recommend all pet owners to apply for pet insurance while their pet is young and at its lowest cost.

Fast payment of medication claims

Trupanion keeps coming through

My cat had an expensive health crisis which we might not have been able to withstand if Trupanion had not lived up so spectacularly to its promise. The crisis resulted in a chronic condition which requires maintenance medication. Trupanion continues to cover the meds and has never failed to hold up its end of the agreement. We are very grateful.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
