Trupanion is the best!

Thank you so much for great insurance and even better customer service! We've had two claims, they are processed very quickly. Trupanion is the first pet insurance we've used, and we will continue to choose it for each dog we add to our family. Our pug was saved twice because we were able to get the care he needed with Trupanion. I'm so glad our vet recommended it at our puppies first visit.

Excellent Customer Service

I have been impressed with Trupanion's fast response when I submit a claim and their Customer Service when I have called with a question. When I submit a claim, I get an emailed confirmation right away. When they are reimbursing me, I get an email with the amount and the check arrives within a week. I did get preauthorization when my dog had knee surgery which helps on processing additional related claims and reimbursement.

We are impressed and happy with Trupanion

Our pup had suspected elbow displasia and TRUPANION covered the arthoscopy and follow up testing exactly as they claimed in their policy with us. They responded quickly and our benefit was paid very promptly. This is the first dog we have had pet insurance for and we are very happy we signed up AND with Trupanion.

Happy with support

I have not had pet insurance before but was recommended to Trupanion by both a friend. Trupanion was quick to respond to my pet's claim/injury. In fact pre-approved the claim so I only had to pay my vet directly for the deductible and co-pay. Trupanion even called me on a Sunday afternoon to confirm pre-approval of the claim. Plus they've been quick to process claims for additional services arising from this injury. We've been very happy to date.

Thanks Trupanion!

Our lab suffered a heatstroke and went from the ER to our vet to a 24 hour hospital. One deductible and that was it. It was a blessing to have this insurance in place. We had no questions and no hassles.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
