TruPanion never disappoints!

TruPanion is the most reasonable insurance company I've ever dealt with. First of all, the customer service reps are FRIENDLY and KIND. Unlike auto insurance or health insurance cs reps who can be downright rude. TruPanion is fast and organized! They get your claim and immediately keep you updated on the claims process via email. I don't have to spend hours on the phone trying get through telepromts to find out the status of my claim! The underwriting is done so well because I've never been declined. They lost the conditions and situations very clearly and when they pay up, they pay a large percentage of your vet bill (almost all of it, depending). The best experience I had was when my 11 year old Maltese went into cardiac arrest and I called to see if they would cover my emergency procedures. TruPanion PRE-APPROVED me for $5,000 even though the estimated bill at the time was half of that. They were extremely kind and compassionate during this difficult time.

Consistently fast, accurate, and WORTH IT!

My English Bulldog is 5 years old and has been covered by Trupanion since we brought him home as a pup. This insurance has paid for itself at least twice over. They cover exactly what they say they will and everything is stated very clearly in their policy. They are always quick to reimburse me and they have even pre-approved charges for surgeries I had scheduled ahead of time. They communicate with me and with the veterinarians very clearly and quickly and they require very little time and effort when putting claims in. I tell everyone I know with pets to use Trupanion and everyone who has taken my advice has thanked me for the suggestion. I honestly could not have had a better experience with them so far. The monthly premiums for pets in my area have gone up, but they have also gone down! Overall it's been an increase, which is to be expected, but I couldn't believe when they told me the rate would be going down for a while. This is one of the easiest companies to communicate with and they have saved me a lot of money. I can't recommend them enough.

Love this company!

I have had Trupanion coverage since my dog was 8 weeks old. Her first year was a busy claim year, but she has had relatively few claims during the succeeding 5 1/2 years. With every claim, however, including one that I had questions on, the staff were professional, friendly, helpful and respectful. If I questioned 'why?' on something, they checked into it and gave me an answer. I have tried to make sure I know what is covered and what is not and I have my policy in my pet's file so I can reference it, if needed. I just filed another little claim late last month and I have already received the coverage check. I have NEVER had a problem that couldn't be reasonably resolved. I have recommended this company to many, many people over the past years and I will continue to do so. I only wish I had been wise enough to get Trupanion coverage for my other dogs in the past.

Best insurance ever... love my pets longer with you.

I have 3 dogs.. 2 which would not be with us without Trupanion... Zoe survived parvo.. she got it even though vaccinated and would not have made it without ICU.... Sable is epileptic and needed special care and a neurologist... Both are doing well and have had sport injury knee injuries requiring repair... They are happy healthy and much loved... and we are thankful that we can have them for a long life due to our insurance.

Quick, easy and stress reducing

Trupanion got our claim processed quickly and worked with our vet for the mot efficient resolution. The process made a stressful even quite a bit easier and less painful. Thanks guys!

Monthly cost varies due to multiple factors including: species, breed, age at enrollment, gender, and postal code.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
