Madl's journey back to health
My shetland sheepdog Madl was doing great until her 12th birthday. After troubling symptoms and much testing (including an ultrasound), Madl was diagnosed with mucoceles gallbladder and autoimmune disease. Madl is a fighter and neither Madl nor her family were prepared to give up although she was in very poor condition by Christmas 2019. With emergency care to stabilize her, a special diet, supportive prescription medications and lots of care from her vets and her loving family, she is doing well today. She is likely to be on medications and a special diet for the remainder of her life. But a year later, she is back to her bossy-boots personality.
Trupanion's coverage of much of her medical care and the ease of making claims has taken away one stressor from our determination to give Madl every chance to enjoy her final years. I have never wanted to make a decision regarding a beloved pet based solely on finances. I would highly recommend Trupanion to anyone looking for insurance to cover their furry family member. It's worth every penny!
