Trupanion to the rescue

With COVID the ability to see a vet on a timely basis is non-existent currently in Ottawa. Minimum 4-8 weeks for a regular appointment otherwise it's the local ER clinic as the only option. I found clinics serving the public much faster but they were in Toronto. I took the appointment. My dog was seen, assessed and treated in 3 days. I paid for the hotels no issue. And Trupanion came through in a huge way. They covered everything that was in the agreement contract I had with them. I was fully willing to pay the bill because it was out of my region but it was such a seamless process and speedy as well. I paid everything was reimbursed within 3 days of submitting the claim. Thank you to everyone at Trupanion.

The Best Insurance

Thank you so much Trupanion, my claim was paid almost instantly taking that stress off the situation. I would recommend Trupanion to anyone who has a fur-baby. Its worth every penny to have that peace of mind and being able to get the best treatments without worrying about the costs.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
