Deplorable bait-and-switch tactics; not to be trusted.
Employs bait-and-switch tactics, using predatory pricing to lure new customers in, hiking rates after the first year. My premiums increased by 63% after the 12th month, despite having made no changes to the property or insurance policy. When I inquired about the extraordinary increase, I was simply told that rates change over time. There is no world in which a 63% year-over-year increase is a reasonable hike or one based in actual risk assessment. You will be lured in by a low rate and excellent initial customer service--the fellow I chatted with was very good at his job. Watch for your auto-renewal notice and the rate hike after 1 year. The one good thing I will say about Sonnet: they make it simple to cancel your insurance--you can do so online.
