Simple things are complicated

The one thing this company is good at is charging you. For the rest, expect things to be ridiculously complicated for simple stuff. Every single year at my car insurance renewal I’m unable to access any documents BUT the account statement. 3 days after the renewal of the policy I have no pink slip available thru my online file and of course no printed pink slip has been mailed to me. The same exact thing happened last year. Every time I get, oh I’m sorry it’s a computer glitch….we’re gonna send you a proof by email and mail you another copy. This lacks seriousness for an 100% online company. Also, it would be advisable to revise opening hours for phone customer service…8 to 5 is at the same time working people are actually….working ! And the delays to reach someone chatting are just insane. So to concluded, this company is good at one thing for sure : billing your credit card. Everything else is a chance

Worst Auto Insurance

I have been with Sonnet Auto Insurance for 4 years, and my rate has increased every year even though I was never in an accident, and have never made a claim of any kind. I recently did get into an accident, on February 24 2022, and was deemed 50% at fault. I as assigned an adjustor, and then never heard from him again. It's been weeks, and every time I contact Sonnet about it, they say they are escalating the issue and I should hear from him soon. He never does reach out. Even a follow up email stating that he is busy would be nice at this point. I have left him voice-mails and emails, and my rental coverage is up, and I still have no answers. My adjustor is part of economical insurance, and Sonnet claimed they are short staffed and do not have access to the notes from economical insurance. I find this weird, as I have read that economical insurance owns Sonnet. The fact that the two companies have not been able to communicate, and furthermore, no one has reached out to me is so off putting to say the least. This has been such a stressful situation and my only advice is to NEVER USE SONNET OR ECONOMICAL INSURANCE, even if the rates are better. I rather pay a little more and not wait weeks with no answers. I have no idea what will happen to my car. Terrible customer service.
