Early Cancellation fee was ridiculous but I expected it to be so. I waited out my insurance period, now to stop it from renewing I can only call in to cancel, everytime i’ve called i’ve waited for over 30 minutes to get through to someone and still haven’t been able to speak to a single person.
Shitty insurance schemes in order to keep you paying in an endless loop since you can’t cancel any other way. Tried calling at different times of the day and still no changes.
Insurance was cheap and was what I needed but anything other than that has been a terrible experience.
Then again it is the insurance industry.
Payment date was moved without consultation. Horribly inconvenient when you're trying to pay, cancel, and move on.
Website is designed horribly, no option to cancel without getting ahold of them directly, phone number links to a robot and asks for an extension that I was never given and isn't in the app.
Makes me feel like I'm not allowed to leave, worries me that I will not be able to get this fixed and will be paying for 2 policies at once.
I Just want a section where I can put in my card, pay it off, and leave.
Charged for 4 months instead of 2 months advance payment
While buying the auto & tenant insurance, I was told that I need to make 2 months of advance payment. However, my CC was charged twice and I was made to pay 4 months of advance payment. On reaching customer care on chat, they were reluctant to check and resolve the issue. Rather than, they were pressing the fact that the payments for balanced months has been adjusted accordingly.
Sonnet needs to understand that they need to adhere to their commitment while making purchase of the policy.
