Simple and easy to understand
Simple and easy to understand. It takes 15 minutes on line to purchase insurance the way you want it.
Absolute horrible experience. Received renewal and price raised. Shopped around and found insurance for half the price. Be careful if you would like to cancel the renewal they make you jump through hoops and transfer to multiple people and then wait on hold for 20 minutes to say an insurance broker isn't available. All after speaking with a customer service agent for 20 minutes.
I am trying to cancel the policy for more than a week already, it took me few hours to speak with someone, then this person told me he is not authorized to process the not renewal request. I waited for another person to call me back, explained him once again that I don’t want to renew, sent him signed by all named insured form, in two days sent a follow up - received nothing. And after few more days they are trying to withdraw the money for the policy renewal from my account!
We had a fire in our apartment building, in another unit, so not even within my control. I tried to call at about 6pm, to review options. Their claims line, rang, rang and rang. No help.
My previous insurance companies claim line, was answered immediately by a person able to get you immediate assistance when you actually need it.
Fast forward a couple years, no issues with my payments, no claims, not 1 ever.
I wake up on a monday morning to a cancellation email, with no reason given, note that is a legal obligation if your policy is cancelled. Thanks sonnet. You're a great company.
