Service was easy ,fast and friendly

Service was easy ,fast and friendly. I was able to get a pre approval for my claim and when my official claim was approved my reimbursement was in my account in minutes. Pumpkin was there when we needed it most, we are very happy the service and so is our Pup!

But not having to pay it beforehand, but you should allow more cards to be real time payments instead of having to wait two days for the payment and not make the vet so happy otherwise it’s great.

Always quick and easy to deal with!

They are always so quick to process my claims and helpful when I call. It has been a life saver having them with our new puppy. She just turned one and has had a lot more issues then I could have predicted and Pumpkin has save us thousands. I have been recommending them to all my friends with pets.

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
