Great pet Insurance
We’ve had pumpkin insurance since 2022
We have only used it once since joining until this month as our Yorkie is having a few health issues
Pumpkin has been there every step of the way
If you don’t think pet insurance is worth the monthly costs
believe me when you need it you will be so happy that you have it
We submitted the bills and pumpkin explained the payouts after the deductible and we received our checks immediately
The staff at pumpkin are so nice
Very helpful and are happy to answer any questions we had
We are so pleased with our pumpkin plans and highly recommend this company
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
