Piece of mind when accident happened
I felt so relieved knowing that I could take my dog to the vet when he accidentally ate a watchband. I didn’t have to wonder if I could pay for the diagnostics or procedures.
My claim was processed in a timely manner.

My dog
My dog, Zainah has been through a traumatic surgery. Pumpkin has been with me all the way--she is recovering now. Not only have they been there financially, but also emotionally. Each person with whom I have spoken has been so caring and supportive.
My only frustration has been that check take a long time to come---I would so appreciate if this could be expeditated.
I have already recommended Pumpkin to many people. And now the hospital who did the surgery has Pumkin on their referral list.

AMAZING
This insurance js amazing! I tell people my dog has better insurance than me. They approved my claims within minutes and I received the money the same day! So thankful to have a peace of mind when it comes to my doggy!
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
