PRUDENT PET IS AWESOME LEGIT AND REASONABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE ONLY REASON WHY WE DIDN'T GIVE PRUDENT PET A 5 ***** IS BECAUSE WE FELT THAT ON OUR INITIAL CLAIM THAT THEY WERE A TAD BIT WAY TO SLOW IN RETURNING OUR PORTION OF OUR MONEYS BACK... NOW WE REALIZE US BEING A BRAND NEW CUSTOMER, THEY GOT TO DO ALL THERE DUE DILIGENCE IN CROSSING THERE TT'S AND DOTTING THERE II'S... SO THAT'S WHY WE ACTUALLY DIDN'T GIVE THEM A 2**!!!!!!!!!!!... LASTLY, THE 2ND. TIME THEY WERE A LOT FASTER IN RETURNING OUR PART BACK TO US.... ALL IN ALL WE WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY FOR YA'LL PETS INSURANCE BECAUSE THEY ARE REASONABLE THAN ANY OTHER PET HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANIES!!!!!! Greatest customer service

Monica was the representative who helped me understand how the plan I chose and she was absolutely wonderful. I got several quotes online, but Prudent was the only company who reached out to me personally. She wasn't pushy or try to guilt me into getting insurance. She wanted to know a little more about Tommy besides the medical information. She explained the policy thoroughly and answered all my questions. I'm very satisfied with the customer service and truly feel like I made the right choice for Tommy. Thank you, Monica!

Monthly Cost

Monthly rates start at $10 for Accident only and $16 for Accident & Illness coverage. Those rates vary based on species, age, breed as well as your location.

Coverage

We cover based on the actual vet bill and have options for 90%, 80% or 70% reimbursement.

Payout Limits

We offer limits of $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000 and an unlimited plan.  There are no lifetime limits with any option you choose.

Deductible

Choose a deductible that works best for you and your family, we offer $100, $250 and $500 options.

Age Limits

We have no age limits, but your pet will need to be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

For our accident & illness plans (essential & ultimate), we have a 14-day waiting period. Our accident-only policy only has a 5-day waiting period. There is no waiting period for wellness coverage.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered by our policies. Optional Wellness Details We have two preventive/wellness plan options. Our basic option costs $9.95/month* and our Prime option costs $24.95/month*. These cover things like wellness exams, dental cleanings, or flea/heartworm prevention. Reimbursement for these is based on a set maximum annual amount. *Correct Jan. 2019
