Rebecca was so helpful

Rebecca was so helpful. I was having a hard time finding new pet insurance for my furbabies, but she went over everything with me and found me something I could afford and give my babies what they needed. She was so kind, caring, worried about my babies and went to great lengths to make my feel comfortable with my payments. She called me, how great is that? We talked for over an hour, discussing furbabies and finding me the best policies. I loved talking to her. She's great! The best! So thank you for your support and I appreciate you more than you could ever know.

Outstanding experience!

This was the most helpful customer service experience I have ever had! They were so very kind and patient and really helped me understand the policy I was choosing. They spent over a half hour on the phone with me answering all of my questions and I never once felt like I was inconveniencing them with my lack of knowledge regarding dog insurance. Prudent Pet was WAY more helpful and pleasant to speak with than any "human" insurance company I have ever dealt with!

Monthly Cost

Monthly rates start at $10 for Accident only and $16 for Accident & Illness coverage. Those rates vary based on species, age, breed as well as your location.

Coverage

We cover based on the actual vet bill and have options for 90%, 80% or 70% reimbursement.

Payout Limits

We offer limits of $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000 and an unlimited plan.  There are no lifetime limits with any option you choose.

Deductible

Choose a deductible that works best for you and your family, we offer $100, $250 and $500 options.

Age Limits

We have no age limits, but your pet will need to be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

For our accident & illness plans (essential & ultimate), we have a 14-day waiting period. Our accident-only policy only has a 5-day waiting period. There is no waiting period for wellness coverage.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered by our policies. Optional Wellness Details We have two preventive/wellness plan options. Our basic option costs $9.95/month* and our Prime option costs $24.95/month*. These cover things like wellness exams, dental cleanings, or flea/heartworm prevention. Reimbursement for these is based on a set maximum annual amount. *Correct Jan. 2019
