Prudent Pet | Pet Insurance Review

I was originally very happy with Prudent until I had to file a claim. They are the cheapest by far but you get what you pay for. They made it difficult to file a claim and they did not cover the actual vet visit for an emergency puncture wound. So read the fine print as they seem to be well versed in hiding what they don’t cover.

So far so great! I'm in the process of switching the pet insurance from Healthy Paws to Prudent Pet. I compared about 8-10 insurance companies but I liked Prudent Pet the best due to the extensive coverages, flexible options, and the shorter waiting period for the competitive premium. It has better coverage & less copay. Also, I was able to talk to Steffie on the phone and online chat with Rebecca to ask about some details.They were both very helpful and nice. AI technology is great and I like doing things via texts but I appreciate that I can also talk to or chat with real humans. I'm hoping that I never need to use the insurance for my 9-year-old golden but it gives me peace of mind.

Steffie was patient, anticipated my questions, and answered them effectively; I felt comfortable with my interaction.

Steffi was extremely helpful with figuring out the right insurance for our needs and was very knowledgeable about their offerings and those from other companies. I cannot speak to the coverage because we haven't needed to use it yet, and hopefully that will remain true! I do appreciate the peace of mind after having a previous pet go through an expensive medical crisis that was only more stressful because of the financial aspect.
