So many options!
I researched so many different options over several weeks--overwhelming. Do I need insurance? Placed call for clarification on effective dates. Was pleased with other options (deducible, limit, coverages, etc). Rebecca answered and immediately, patiently, offered suggestions. She was personal, provided examples, and finalized my search. She is truly wonderful!

Stands out among others...
Detailed information and the comparison chart made finding the right company easier. Receiving the follow-up email after receiving my quote was nice, because I could refer back to my quote easily without having to re-enter all of the information. I didn't feel harassed by a salesperson at any point. Prudent offers decent reimbursements and provides many options to customize your policy to meet your pet's needs. I'm impressed!
Monthly Cost
Monthly rates start at $10 for Accident only and $16 for Accident & Illness coverage. Those rates vary based on species, age, breed as well as your location.
Coverage
We cover based on the actual vet bill and have options for 90%, 80% or 70% reimbursement.
Payout Limits
We offer limits of $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $15,000, $20,000 and an unlimited plan. There are no lifetime limits with any option you choose.
Deductible
Choose a deductible that works best for you and your family, we offer $100, $250 and $500 options.
Age Limits
We have no age limits, but your pet will need to be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
For our accident & illness plans (essential & ultimate), we have a 14-day waiting period. Our accident-only policy only has a 5-day waiting period. There is no waiting period for wellness coverage.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered by our policies.
Optional Wellness Details
We have two preventive/wellness plan options. Our basic option costs $9.95/month* and our Prime option costs $24.95/month*. These cover things like wellness exams, dental cleanings, or flea/heartworm prevention. Reimbursement for these is based on a set maximum annual amount.
