Can't recommend Pets Best enough
Can't recommend Pets Best enough. They were always there for us when our dogs were sick and covered expenses in a very timely manor. So glad we switched from our previous pet insurance company and went with these folks who truly care.

Slow and steady
The process for submitting claims is so easy and the app is very user friendly! My only complaint is the time it takes between submitting claims and getting reimbursed. It does take a little while but it’s worth it to wait. The EOB explains what was covered, or what wasn’t and sometimes what you can do to get it covered to resubmit the claim.

Very satisfied with the claim process…
Very satisfied with the claim process and ultimately the reimbursement timing. The Insurance does help in maintaining your dogs health.
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.

Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
