Pets Best High Deductible W/Wellness Is A Good Package

Pets Best high deductible seems to be well suited for young, healthy dogs. With added wellness, we have already recovered benefits equal to about 40% of our premium. We get decent coverage for what will really be used and protection against catastrophic injury and illness. The claims process is easy although it took a surprising amount of time. They did readily say they are short-staffed, like everyone else, so you can't really complain.

I love Pets Best!…

Never heard of Pets Best until a friend referred me recently. You have covered more in one month than pet insurance on my previous service dog covered in 12 years! I love Pets Best and have told the vet office about you.

Deny Deny Deny

I booked insurance for a piece of mind and clearly I should've just told my self no and gone with a different provider. All Im getting from my claims is deny deny deny deny and Im under unlimited insurance package. Hoping my next claim doesn't get denied, none of my 4 pervious claims have even been applied to my deductible which means at end of year given my pet is in good health I still have to pay. I was better off with Liberty Mutual they actually process claims in a timely manner not wait month and a half to deny you like PetsBest and Liberty Mutual calls you with an explanation as to why it was denied. ALL IN ALL LEARNING EXPERIENCE THANK YOU FOR SHOWING ME WHAT I DONT WANT IN PET INSURANCE.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
