Unexepected overnight ER visit…

I had an unexpected overnight ER visit for an ingested object that was quite expensive. But the process to submit a claim online was so easy. I received my 80% repayment of the ER bill (less my deductible) about 3 weeks later. It made a stressful situation so much easier to manage. I'm so glad I got the Pets Best policy.

Excellent Service

Dog went to the vet for a cough on 8/14. Submitted the bill that day, money was direct deposited into my account on 8/28. Everything was smooth from start to finish. They covered everything they said they would. Very happy.

I am new to Pets Best so i havn't used…

I am new to Pets Best so i havn't used it yet, just reading the reviews here ....I adopted my dog back in Dec. of 2021. He is 7 years old an I got the accident only for him so far. He is a small mixed Chi dog an is only 6 pounds. I was glad they offered accident only for him because he has no teeth so i don't have need of any of the other insurance parts. He had a check up when i got him an he is in good health. I really don't believe in all those vaccines etc. for him as he is to little an they would make him sick so i am very careful what i give him . But ya never know about accidents they happen so i am glad they offered that. He also sees a chiropracter an is doing well. Hope it works out for us. I will write another review if anything happens to let everyone know how we did. God Bless to all pets an pet parents.....Happy to be a part of this an pray it works out for us. He is a good boy an we are doing well together....:-)

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
