Daily allergy medication coverage.

My dog has allergies and requires daily medicine. I have never had an issue getting my coverage, minus my deductible. Easy online claims where you upload the paid bill and the company processes it and deposits your funds directly into your acccount. Easy peasy.

Initially i got great response

Initially i got great response, very easy interactive links! unfortunately i had the most terrible time and response when trying to get reimbursed. After several attempts of bills amounting to roughly $1,000.00 dollars i was reimbursed about $16.95 for all my troubles.

Cannot Recommend Pets Best any Higher

Our 3 dogs have better heath insurance than we do. That is a fact! We have 3 dogs with 3 policies. We thought since they run a lot, we should get them covered for potential injuries. Needless to say we've had no injuries or claims on 2 of the dogs at all (thankfully). But our 6 YO Basenji experienced sudden vision loss. It's been intensive and costly. Pets Best has been there every step of the way to share the burden. EASY claims process. FAST claims resolution. I've since referred several of my friends and family to them, and I'm comfortable recommending them to anybody who thinks they need pet insurance. And if you have a pet and think you don't need it, you might want to reconsider. Things happen. Most of them costly. We've been able to provide Sue top level care only because we had Pets Best to share the burden. Cannot say enough about them.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
