Allowed me to care for my pet in the best way possible.

I subscribed mostly out of a strong recommendation from the shelter I adopted my cat from, thinking it was out of an abundance of precaution. My young and seemingly healthy cat, unfortunately, became very ill and I am forever grateful to PetsBest for having allowed me to offer my beloved pet the best medical care I could ever give him.

Pets Best Gives Peace of Mind

Pets Best has a user friendly website which makes maneuvering very easy. Thus, filing a claim is a easy and Pets Best payment of claims is also very quick and easy. I would highly recommend Pets Best if you are looking for protection for you pet. You may not use it often but it is nice to know you have a company like Pets Best when you need it.

Ease of using the site

It is always super easy to submit a claim, and the company also gets back to you relatively quickly (within a week or so) with the amount of reimbursement you can expect. I have also used the 24/7 help line recently to speak with a Vet Assistant, and that was very easy and helpful.

Saved tons of money

Easy claims process. My pup has been covered since I adopted her as a young puppy. I found out last year that she had hip dysplasia and would probably have to have a hip replacement. We just had our total hip replacement 3 weeks ago and PetsBest has covered exactly what they said they would. I have saved tons of money using PetsBest and am so glad I got it right away.

Great experience, but…

We haven’t had a bad experience with Pet’s Best! The only reason for the four star review is how long it took for our claim to be processed, but they did send an email in the meantime letting us know that they received it and were backed up with claims at this time. So I did appreciate the transparency!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
