Competitive Premiums and honor claims

Pets Best offers competitive premiums, responds quickly to claims, and offers fair reimbursement for claims. Their site is also very easy to use. I highly recommend!

I'm so very happy that I made the decision to get insurance on both my Furbabies when they were just pups. Pest best has bn absolutely wonderful. They have taken great care of me. I would definitely recommend them.

Claim Response Quick & Thorough

We had 2 injuries this year for my 10 year old Pomeranian. PetsBest claim response was in a month both times. Everything that they said should be covered was, no questions asked. Premium has gone up a bit ($30/mo) but they have delivered.

BEWARE!!

BEWARE!!! If you're lucky, they will pay out. They will do whatever they can to prolong or not pay out at all. It's been two months since I filed a claim. They kept telling me they needed more medical records from my vet. My vet sent them everything, and pets best was informed several times, then I received an email stating they denied the claim because my vet failed to send more records, there are NO MORE RECORDS !! I was more stressed having insurance, then just paying my vet out of pocket. Pets Best is a scam, they had no problem taking my money!! I canceled my policy, and next stop is BBB.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
