It took forever to get a claim back
It took forever to get a claim back, and also got my puppy neutering done, after $650 only received $150 back. Not sure if this insurance really worth anything honestly for $55 per month. That’s $650 an year and $6600 a 10 years, but we all want our pets to live long but this insurance don’t return much.

I got this insurance in 2012 for my…
I got this insurance in 2012 for my dog. My dog was healthy so I never get to use it for about 8/9 years. At the age of 10 she was diagnosed with heart failure disease, her plan max for "incident" ( this is what they call her illness) was only $2500 .
When I called - they explained that my policy is old and doesn't exist any longer. I asked to change a plan, which has not available?! Only to cancel and get a new plan, which would make me a "new" customer whose dog's heart disease would be treated as an " existing condition". After 11 years of being with this insurance and now paying $270 a month - my dog's pills and cardiologist would not be covered.
I wish I can leave 0 stars. If you plan to get a new plan with pets best, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I am canceling after 11 years. This is why we get insurance - to have it now when I need the most. Utterly disappointed that I have to pay out of pocket for this.

Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.

Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date.
