Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

I do like that they cover everything I had a $2,000 claim and they covered almost all of it. The issue is that they take an insane amount of time to process. My claim took 41 days and it was a battle of me calling almost everyday. The people in the phone are nice but whoever is processing the claim takes too long. The claims time is way too long and after they read your review the respond with the generic “Claims are processed in the order they’re received. Claims take an average of 15 days to be completed. However, more complex cases take up to 42 days currently. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience…” which just shows they don’t care. Also the app crashes a lot and isn’t great. Overall the cover a lot if you get the right policy but it will take forever to actually get your money back.

Submitting a claim requires answering just a few questions, and there are a few options for receiving payment. In addition, claims are put towards your deductible. Customers are also given email updates when claims have been received, in process, and completed. Lastly, payment is received in a timely manner. However, the best reason to purchase insurance with Pets Best is peace of mind. After sixteen years, we lost our beloved Bella to congestive heart failure. Losing a pet is the most devastating experience, but having insurance allowed us the peace of mind to make the best health care decisions for her knowing we would be covered regardless of the cost. In closing, I could not see my life without the joy of a dog. When we are ready to add another member to our family, the first thing I will be doing is getting pet insurance from Pets Best. They are simply "the best."
