Hip dysplasia coverage
Very grateful to have Pets Best through a scary hip dysplasia diagnosis and intense surgery recovery. Such a relief receiving the explanation of benefits and seeing the reimbursement come through.

Submitted a claim for an ear infection…
Submitted a claim for an ear infection for my fur baby and although their online form says 25-30 days it was done in a week. They have gotten much better since we first took insurance through them. They are also the only pet insurance I have found that pays office visits

5 weeks to process my claim
it took well over one month to have my claims processed. only to find out that PETS BEST paid only about 35% of the total claim .
It should have never taken 5 weeks to process my claims.
Plus , I had a new claim , I tried 3 times to upload the new claim and the system continued to reject the claims . this was the message I got **** We are unable to verify that your pet had coverage on the date of treatment you specified.
If you feel this is incorrect or have any other questions about this claim you are attempting to submit, please contact Customer Care*** so i connected with live chat LAURA . it took forever to connect with her and she was no help and just told me to email my new claims and they would take care of it . what is going on with this company ??? i might just be checking into another pet insurance company depending the outcome of my new claim . its been one problem after another since i became a customer of pets best .

Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).

The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
