Waste of money

They take forever to give you an answer. They make up reasons to deny your claim & you have to wait on hold at least 30 minutes to have them start the process. Children crying in the background.

Great Turn Around

Pets Best normally has a very fast turn around with claims which is awesome because some of the out of pocket expenses can really add up. I appreciate everything they do!!!

Thank heavens for Pets Best!

After previously being with a non-responsive, and sometimes downright ugly, pet insurance company, Pets Best is more than a breath of fresh air. It is a relief! All questions I've had have been answered instantly. A bill I submitted was paid within days. I am SO thankful to have my two beloved dogs now in the hands of a company who cares.

Extremely easy claim filing

Extremely easy claim filing. The payment is broken down and explained very clearly. The only thing can improve is phone call as usually there is a long wait. However the process is so smooth that mostly there is never a need to call the customer service. I am very happy with this insurance!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
