new puppy

A new 10 week old puppy and my first experience with pet insurance. New puppy well exam and started required shots. This was affordable and so very easy to submit claims. I received my reimbursement within the timeframe stated,

Helpful for our puppy's 1st year

I have a 1-year-old dog and have had Pet's Best for about 9 months and they have been very easy to work with. Our puppy has gotten into a few things and we have used and appreciated having this insurance. It has been easy to submit claims and receive reimbursement. We are very pleased with Pet's Best.

Such a relief!

Vet bills stack up fast. Last year I lost my other cat, and the last thing I wanted to worry about during that time was the bills. This year my other cat got sick, and knowing I was covered just took so much of that extra stress off so I could focus on the important stuff. Submitting my claim in the app was super quick and easy, it was approved faster than I expected, and the explanation of benefits left me with no questions. This was my best Grownup Decision yet! By the way, go for the higher premium. $60 a month for a $250 deductible is absolutely the move. I hit my deductible as soon as the doctor ordered labs. 100% worth it.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
