Claims are a nightmare
Price is the only good thing about my Pets Best policy. Everything else is terrible, especially trying to get paid for claims. I have a diabetic cat and have to submit claims for him regularly and it's a nightmare.

When we needed it most!
When our beloved cat Dexter very suddenly started to have trouble breathing, we wrapped him up and flew to the emergency Vet. Within an hour, Dexter had died.
We were devastated and numb. When I contacted Pet’s Best they helped me through all the details, and then took it from there. When we really needed them, they came through!!!

It is going on my 2nd month and they…
It is going on my 2nd month and they say they reimbursed me but didn't. They also are taking alot longer on older claims than new ones that they aren't even reimbursing when they say they did. I don't understand when they have all the appropriate paper work. I think they want you to make more premium payments before they actually pay you. Just my thought lol. Not facts. They need to speed up the process because that is very inconvenient. If I would have known I would not have signed up. Im going to give a little longer though and see

Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
