Our little guy had to have emergency surgery. I filed the claim on Pets Best App and it was extremely easy. Pets Best was extremely efficient in processing and paying the claim. They kept me informed during the process through emails and on the app. I am so happy that we chose Pets Best!

Pets Best is - The Best

"Unfortunately my corgi has had several health issues that have had to be addressed both at her regular vet and at the doggie ER. Her bills have been pretty hefty. Fortunately I insured her with PetsBest starting the day I got her from her breeder. PetsBest has paid exactly what I have expected based on Murfee's policy. Each claim has been paid very quickly and accurately. I am thankful for PetsBest and totally impressed by the quality of customer service. "

Avoid the Frustration

I deeply regret switching to Pets Best from Nationwide—this has been the worst pet insurance experience I've ever had. The biggest issue is their claim denials; a significant majority of the claims I submit are rejected without clear justification, making it feel like their priority is avoiding payouts rather than supporting pet owners. On the rare occasion they do approve a claim, the reimbursement process is painfully slow, often taking weeks before I see any funds. This delay is frustrating, especially when dealing with urgent veterinary expenses. Having been with multiple pet insurance providers, I can confidently say Pets Best has been the most disappointing in terms of reliability and efficiency. If you're looking for peace of mind and timely coverage for your pet, I strongly recommend exploring other options. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating, and I truly regret making the switch.

Able to provide the best care for my dog

Great communication when it comes to status of claims, rates have gone up with each policy renewal but thats to be expected. Able to provide my baby with the best possible care knowing she’s ensured.

Don’t waste your money

They deny everything. And drive you to spend even more money to “cover” your pet and then they cover nothing. So in the end just pay out of pocket and hope for the best because they don’t care about you or your pet. They aren’t the PetsBest. They are only good for their bottom line.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
