My Little Shih Tzu, Bella, Is …

My little shih Tzu, Bella, is a very smart, loving and happy dog. She is part of our family. She has had a few issues with her digestive system and recently she had some disturbing numbers regarding her liver. We submitted the vets invoices not knowing what might be covered. Needless to say we were very pleased with your responsiveness. We take her to the vet regularly for her checkups and really try to keep her healthy and we really appreciate your help."

I Had Pets Best Insurance Sinc…

I had Pets Best Insurance since my dog was a puppy. He is no longer with me and with the random medicals issues that came up throughout his life I was able to care for him in the best way possible. They are always so helpful to speak with. Very sympathetic and understanding. The reimbursements came so quickly and with no issues at all. If I decide to get another pet I will make sure that I get a policy right away. When I called to cancel my policy upon losing Bryce they were so caring and I received a card in the mail shortly after. I have recommended this company to many people. I was in the Veterinary industry for 21 years and with all the research I did, this is who we told our clients about. Thank you Pets Best. "

Process them faster! It should not take over a week to process a simple claim. Trupanion processes a claim the same day!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
